On The River today we are privileged to interview U. S. Congressman Adam Kinzinger of Illinois, vice chairman of the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Terrorism. He knows as much as anyone in congress about our current battles against terrorism, because as a pilot in the United States Air Force Congressman Kinzinger flew in two wars. He is also an expert on border issues since he often patrols our country's borders when on active military duty. Congressman Kinzinger closely identifies with our fighting men and women. When the large refueling plane the congressman flew in Afghanistan crashed recently, he grieved for the lost crew, referring to them as brothers. When terrorism wounded or killed American citizens the congressman took it personally, grieving with the families. You will come to understand todays issues in a new way as you listen to the congressman. Dont miss this show!To contact the congressman: http://kinzinger.house.gov/committee-assignments
